Blake J. Spale resides in Wilmington, NC and joined the Shotwell Law Group as an associate attorney in 2014. Mr. Spale received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado – Boulder, and subsequently obtained his Juris Doctorate graduating Cum Laude from New England School of Law in Boston, MA. Prior to joining the Shotwell Law Group, Mr. Spale was the managing partner of the Spale Law Firm where he focused primarily on criminal defense representation. Mr. Spale currently represents numerous clients facing serious felonies including heroin and cocaine trafficking, sale and delivery of narcotics, possession of narcotics with the intent to sell and deliver, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious bodily injury, breaking and entering, larceny, and habitual driving while impaired. Mr. Spale also routinely represents clients faced with misdemeanor charges including possession of marijuana, shoplifting, and assault on a female; as well as, traffic matters including careless and reckless driving, speeding, and driving while impaired. He represents clients in District and Superior Court in New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick Counties.
